Know Me
Mónica, an expert in teaching English to professionals and companies by videoconference and/or in-person at your workplace.
After an extensive experience of more than 15 years teaching in-company, I decided to set up Work in English. My target is to improve the oral & written skills of professionals like you that work in an international context.
I have a Bachelor degree in “English Philology” and a Master of Arts in “Teaching & Learning English” from the University of Liverpool, which has allowed me to work as a teacher of English at the university (in Spain and in England).
My Certificate in “Teaching Business English” and my Master in “International Commerce” along with my teaching experience of many years in different multinational companies, chambers of commerce, and business schools speak for me as a very suitable “online teacher of English for professionals”.
Currently I work as an online trainer of English for different companies and as a part-time teacher at the university. I am also a Cambridge Examiner for the PDQ.
How I work
- My goal is to improve your communication skills in English. You will get the fluency and self-confidence needed to work in an international context in a profesional way.
- My lessons are dynamic and interactive and encourage you to speak all time by discussing topics of your interest and real situations of your daily work.
- I design my own materials to meet the needs of your company / department / staff.
- I will grant you access to my learning platform / private area where you will find the material to work on in our lessons.
- My way of working, extensive experience, professionalism and ability to engage and motivate will allow you to reach the targets set before starting the lessons.
